Well, yesterday was Valentine’s Day…but lets face it, the day was on a Thursday weeknight, so we all know the love and romance will certainly continue throughout the weekend.
For some…that means cozying up to the one you love, or going out for a romantic date..
…possibly popping the big question?!
But, for others…Valentine’s Day is about learning to love yourself and maybe hanging out with your closest friends to watch some movies, eat a little junk food, and get discounted prices on yummy heart-shaped chocolates.
Maybe you’re proud and satisfied to be single and the day is a chance to reflect on your sense of self, your close family bonds and friendships…because EVERY relationship needs a little tender loving care…
…Or maybe you would rather sit on your couch lamenting Singles Awareness Day and your lack of passionate love in life…all while drowning your sorrows in a threesome with Ben and Jerry, and doing your best re-enactment of Charlotte from Sex and the City:
Any way you choose to celebrate…No judgements here.
But, might I make a suggestion…
I have complied a list of my top 15, in no particular order, favorite romantic movies of all time…and my favorite scenes from each.
So, even if you are devoid of a lover this Valentine’s weekend…you can take comfort in watching the most beautiful love stories cinema has to offer!
