To all those taking the SAT tomorrow...

I say this with love, as an older and wiser college senior.

It doesn’t matter.

Do I remember what my score was?
No.

Did my score change my life in any way?
No.

When I graduate college this year, will any employer ask me in an interview what I got or hire me because of my SAT?
Hmmm….this is a tough on-OF COURSE NOT.

Calm yourselves.

Standardized tests are not an accurate judge of intelligence.
They ignore many important qualities every person needs in life.
How about…character, values, creativity, a sense of humor, communication and organization skills, empathy, working well with others, and always being open to learning.

A standardized test cannot measure a person’s true worth or ability.
