Peggy finally told someone she had a child and explained what she did to get to where she is and why she is the way she is.

It was so raw and emotional. 

And it showed that Don was wrong. He said, “It never happened. It will shock you how much it never happened.”

No matter what she does she’ll never be able to forget that she gave up her child, and gave him a better life, in order to evade the shame brought on from being an unwed mother during that time period and to pursue a successful career in the advertising world.

One of my new all-time favorite Mad Men scenes.
