Everyone should watch last night’s FRONTLINE documentary called, Generation Like.
The globe has certainly changed since the days of FRONTLINE’s Merchants of Cool (2001).
This new documentary explores the world of social media and tackles how we, the consumer, have now become the marketer. This is specially true among our nation’s youths who seek to find a voice and identity, and to connect with others.
It shows how brands and trends cash in on younger generation’s likes and dislikes, even going so far as to compare marketing today to the Hunger Games.
Definitely a must watch for all.
